The Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace in Cremorne has officially been heritage listed.
After two years, the Hayden Orpheum has been granted a spot on the NSW State Heritage Register. With this listing, the historical, architectural, and cultural significance of the site will be preserved.
‘The Orpheum holds a special place in our hearts, lives and community, and it is pleasing that it will now be preserved for the enjoyment of current and future generations,’ says Member for Willoughby, Tim James. ‘Many of us will have found memories of watching a show at the Orpheum.’
