FOLLOWING a two-year hiatus due to covid lockdowns and restrictions, the community bank of Turramurra and Lindfield gathered together at the Warrawee Bowling Club for the official presentation, bringing together a community-focused group of individuals.
The program has been running for more than ten years and, over that time, has given back more than $70,000 to local charities and community groups who do incredible work in our community.
This year $11,000 in staff grants were given out. The following community groups were given $1,000 each:
- StreetWork
- Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury
- Dom’s Place
- Mary’s House
- Warrawee Public School Band Program
- Beecroft House
- West Pymble Special Needs Football
- Quilts for Lismore
- Computer Pals for Seniors Turramurra
- CWA Hornsby and District branch
- EPIC – Empowering Parents in Crisis
Each recipient of $1,000 is chosen by a staff member of the Turramurra and Lindfield Community Bank.
These inspiring community groups are making a difference in our local area, congratulations to all and well done to Turramurra and Lindfield Community Bank.
