The Residences at Wahroonga Estate

NEW development is on the horizon for the Upper North Shore.

Capital Corporation, the developer with a portfolio of over 1,600 completed houses and apartments throughout Sydney, are setting their sights on a new project: The Residences at Wahroonga Estate.

The Publisher of The Post, Tina Brown, had the pleasure of attending the Coco Republic designed and furnished display apartment in late June and met the design curators in person.

At the corner of Fox Valley Road and the Comenarra Parkway, The Residences at Wahroonga Estate will encompass luxurious architecture against a backdrop of natural bushland.

Near Lane Cove National Park and adjacent to community staple the Sydney Adventist Hospital, The Residences will perfectly situate its occupants. With Wahroonga Village, the train line, and sought-after schools like Knox Grammar, Abbotsleigh School for Girls and St Leo’s Catholic College in the catchment, The Residences presents an opportunity for growing families to seamlessly integrate into the Upper North Shore community.

GroupGSA Architects are leading the architecture and landscaping design for the project.

The Residences will comprise of three six-story buildings with a total of 132 apartments, available in one, two, and three-bedroom layouts. Selling features including floor-to-ceiling windows, intercom systems for security, pet-friendly amenities, and garden terraces for indoor and outdoor living.

‘With a majority of owner-occupiers already drawn to its allure, this development represents the epitome of Upper North Shore living,’ says Jim Hunter, Director at Capital Corporation.

Interior design for The Residences at Wahroonga Estate will be helmed by Coco Republic. Inspiration for the design was derived from the beautiful surroundings of Sydney’s natural bushland.

‘The interior design was curated by employing the aesthetics of the natural leafy surrounds and nature to create a light and dark scheme palette,’ explains Head of Interior Design at Coco Republic, Diana Ribarevski. ‘For the light scheme, inspiration was taken from the dappled light, calmness, and softness of autumn… The dark scheme took inspiration from the warmth, texture and colour of local surrounds, focusing on the deep browns of the earth.’

Price ranges for The Residences at Wahroonga Estate include $730 thousand to $1.115 million for one bedroom, $1.125 million to $1.585 million for two bedrooms, and $1.61 million to $2.43 million for three bedrooms.

‘The Residences are perfect for those looking for timeless design in a location that is synonymous with a tight knit community, connecting people with prestigious schools, a state-of-the-art medical precinct, boutique retail and dining in the Upper North Shore,' says Jim Hunter.
