International Day of Peace Interfaith Prayer Service which will be held on Wednesday, 21 September at 11 am at the Knox Cultural Centre, Knox Grammar School, 2 Borambil Street, Wahroonga 2076 (a stone’s throw distance from Warrawee Train Station)
Dr Jan Fizzell, Senior Medical Adviser for NSW Health would give the occasional address.
Religious leaders from Aboriginal, Bahai, Brahmakumaris, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islamic, Jain, Jewish, Mandaean, Sikh, Sufi and Zoroastrian communities will offer prayers for peace. School children will provide musical performances. There will be opportunity for lighting a candle for Peace during the service. At the end of the service light lunch would be provided.
