Council's Marketing Course

Ku-ring-gai Council recently ran a marketing course for anyone who hasn't yet created a marketing plan.

Spread out over three weeks in short daily sessions, the course was easy for business owners to fit into a busy schedule.

However, one downside was that it didn't really talk about advertising or promoting your business – the important parts of any marketing plan! It felt a bit like the course assumed that once you build something, customers will automatically come. Any marketing expert worth their salt knows this to be untrue.
