Masada College adapts to a digital world

There’s no doubt COVID-19 has changed the way we live. School marketing and enrolment teams have had to adapt to a digital way of reaching their potential new families. Many schools are recognising the benefits of Virtual Open Days, mainly due to the convenience for families.

Karen Forrai, Head of Enrolments at Masada College, says the option to take part in a Virtual Open Day from the comfort of your own home is very compelling for busy parents.

“Our Virtual Open Day (on Wednesday, March 24) allows parents to speak directly with the Heads of School, meet the School Principal and gather knowledge in the one session,” Ms Forrai said.

“Achieving that during a physical tour of the school would be difficult. Throughout the Virtual Open Day parents can ask questions directly and view a virtual tour of our College. They don’t even have to leave their office, home or bed if they don’t want to.”

Masada College will host their Virtual Open Day from 5pm to 6.30pm, a window when parents have more time to focus, rather than take time out of their workday or interrupt their weekend.

There are information sessions from each of the schools from the Early Learning Centre to Junior and Senior School as well as the Head of Academic Care and parents are given the opportunity to ask questions during the live chat sessions and digital information packs are also available.

“As the Head of Enrolments, it’s my job to make it as easy as possible for new families to get a good understanding of our school and if a Virtual Open Day makes that experience more convenient, we must offer it,” Ms Forrai said.

“Of course, we are always open for physical tours and the majority of parents still require a physical tour before making their final decision, but the Virtual Open Day is a wonderful way for both parties to get to know each other.”
