Chatswood RSL CEO retires after 38 years
1 min read

AFTER 38 years of dedicated service, the Club’s CEO, Tony Snowsill, has retired from Chatswood RSL Club.

It was 1984 when Tony started at the Club after managing a Services Club on the South Coast and various resorts in Fiji.

At this time, the Club was a narrow property on Victoria Avenue leading through to a larger section of the Club on Thomas Street.

Over the years Tony has contributed to purchasing properties surrounding the Club and developed these areas into what is known today as Shimmers, Shades, the Dragons Den, Golden Bell restaurant, the TAB and Diamond Lounge.

Tony has seen the Club through many changes, renovations and developments over the years. Without Tony’s leadership and foresight and his work ethic, the Club would not be what it is today.

Throughout the years Tony has ensured that the Club has remained strongly aligned with the community, enabling the continued support of many local community groups, schools, charities, and the Returned Services League.

The Club’s Board would like to thank Tony for his years of dedication and unwavering commitment to the Club and the local community.

Newly appointed CEO, Andrew Hoschke, has held several management positions during his 21 years at Chatswood RSL Club. His last role as Operations Manager saw him work closely with Tony in the planning and management of past and future developments and renovations over the last 15 years.

Andrew will continue to deliver the Club’s strategic plans whilst ensuring that the club remains focussed on supporting the local community.

Congratulations to Andrew on his appointment as CEO, and best wishes for Tony’s retirement after working hard at Chastwood RSL over the last 38 years, he leaves the Club in good stead and capable
