Chatswood Concourse: Northside Radio Saturday 20 May

FM 99.3 BEGAN as a community radio station in 1981 after FM licences were issued in 1979. It started in a house in Orchard Street Chatswood and then eventually moved to our current location in Victoria Avenue. It is active in the North Shore community with outside broadcasts and events. Enthusiastic presenters play music on air that other stations don’t play.

Northside broadcasting is celebrating its 40th anniversary on Saturday the 20th of May with a big street party to be held at the Chatswood Concourse. There will be bands playing including the Lisa Ohlback band and the Ray Hood ensemble. The presenters will be there with a live broadcast from the Concourse back to the radio station. There will be kids activities as well. Everyone is invited to drop in visit and meet the people from our community radio station FM 99.3.
